Miles seeks comfort in his uncles (3) company, painting graffiti and listening to music with him. One day, whilst painting graffiti, Miles is bitten by a genetically-enhanced spider. He develops superhuman abilities like Spiderman. He doesn′t tell his parents because of his fathers (4) dislike of superheroes.

Miles is initially scared of the idea of using his powers but when Kingpin kills Peter Parker, Miles is persuaded to use his new superpowers and continue Spidermans (5) legacy.
