Change the nouns numbered 1-10 from singular to plural or from plural to singular. Type your answers in the spaces provided below the paragraph.

Our school fete was held on Saturday. There were hundreds of person (1) and child (2) enjoying the sunshine. My parents gave us each some money to spend on three activity (3) of our choice.

There was a farmer from Oudtshoorn who had a pen with sheep and goose (4). You could pay to feed a sheep. My brothers (5) was keen to do that but I thought that that was a waste of money.  I rather found a ladies (6) who was painting face (7) and asked her to paint me a Spiderman face.

Then I decided to try my luck at the tombola stores. I entered a raffle to guess the number of leaf (8) in a jar – that was difficult – and I tried a game where you had to knock five glasses off a shelves (9) with a tennis ball. I managed to knock three glass (10) off and I won a stuffed teddy bear. I gave it to my sister.

The best part of the day was, when I eventually found my parents in the seating area, they didn′t recognise me with my new Spiderman face.
